(Christen) Little has happened the past two days. We are settling into a routine now, which is good. We were very happy to be moved into a much larger room yesterday. SPACE...YAY! The hotel is quieter now that the other two adopting families have left; they opted for the two trip approach. There were 8 children here, now there are 3. Please pray for the Collins and Turner families as they have left there children in country while the process plays out.
Of Note:It appears that we are going to have to file for a visa extension. Our original visa allowed us to stay in country for thirty days, and we have now been in country 2 weeks. We expect the process to take longer than the 16 days we have left on our visa. Therefore we will need an extension. We know of another family working with a different agency than ran into this same issue, and had trouble getting an extension in time. Pray that this won't be an issue.
We are planning a change of scenery soon by heading to the historic Cape Coast of Ghana sometime in the next week. That area is well known for beaches (not for swimming), a castle, and the Kakum National Park (rainforest and canopy walk).
Thank you to everyone for the encouraging comments and emails. We love to here from you all back home!
Please continue to pray for the following:
-We would be granted a visa extension easily
-Our I-600 would be approved quickly
-The US embassy will grant Manny his visa
